My Battery Won't Hold a ChargeUpdated a month ago

If your Poshaver isn’t holding a charge, don’t worry! Not only are you covered for an entire year for any potential manufacturer defects, but there are also some troubleshooting steps you can try to solve it yourself!

First, let's make sure you're using the charger that came with your PosheEra kit. Some other devices might use a similar charging cord, but they will have different outputs. Our cord is white, and looks like this:

Let's check the battery LED light. Before unplugging the shaver, make sure the light is green. If it’s red, the battery isn’t fully charged. If it doesn't turn green after 2 hours, continue to troubleshoot.

Next: Try to reset your shaver by holding down the power button for 30 seconds.

Tip: Sometimes a faulty outlet or port can cause issues. Try plugging your shaver into a different power outlet or USB port to see if that helps.

It’s best to use a USB adapter that's no higher than 1V to prevent damage to the battery.

Note that PosheEra has an IPX Rating of 5. This means it can withstand occasional splashes from any direction. It is safe to be near your bath water, however, IPX5 cannot withstand streams of water, nor can it be submerged.

If these steps don’t solve the issue, do not worry. We're here to help. Feel free to reach out to our Customer Support Team. We’re here for you every day of the week, and would love to help with further troubleshooting or provide a replacement if needed!
